Crisis & Bereavement Response
When the worst has happened.
Loss. Suicide. Mass casualty. The aftermath of an event no one planned for and no one is fully prepared to respond to. Our principals have been in those rooms — most consequentially, in the response to the Extortion 17 mass casualty event in 2011, which began a long-standing collaboration with the Navy SEAL Foundation on bereavement programming we continue to run today.
What we offer
- Consultative response coordination for organizations navigating the immediate aftermath of loss.
- Family-focused therapeutic retreat programming for surviving families.
- Bereavement training and consultation for the providers and leaders supporting affected communities.
- Structured longer-term support drawn from peer-reviewed bereavement frameworks and applied across two decades of work.
Engagement
This work is delivered with extreme care, in close coordination with the leadership and family liaisons of the organizations we partner with.
