For Clinicians

Relational Intelligence Therapy.

An integrative, sequenced relational intelligence therapy for individuals, families, and couples.

For clinicians who want a structured, evidence-based model for working with individuals and their systems (couples and families) — including those affected by trauma, deployment, and high-stress occupational exposure — BCM offers a three-day immersive training plus weekly consultation toward certification.

Why the model works

Most clinicians come to us with strong individual training in evidence-based therapies (CBT, EMDR, CPT, Gottman) or attachment-based approaches — but with limited structured tools for working with individuals and their systems (couples and families), particularly in the aftermath of trauma. The BCM intervention is an integrative framework that sequences the skills clinicians already know and adds the relational scaffolding most individual modalities omit.

  • Sequenced skill acquisition (cumulative, not modular).
  • Validation and compassion as foundational, not adjunctive.
  • Attachment theory operationalized into concrete clinical practice.
  • Modules for adult/couple, child/adolescent, individual, and combined family work.
  • Special considerations for combat deployment, traumatic brain injury, and special operations populations.

The clinicians we've trained describe the model as the crucial integration of years of accumulated training and knowledge.

The training

  • Three-day immersive training delivered to a clinician group.
  • Comprehensive manual and supporting clinical materials.
  • Two completed cases with weekly supervision required to be considered trained; eight completed cases with monthly supervision for full certification.

Who comes to our trainings

  • Group practices that want a shared structured framework for systems (couples and family) work.
  • Clinical programs serving veteran, military, or trauma-exposed populations.
  • Training organizations and graduate programs (inquiries welcome).

Credentials

The intervention was authored by Drs. Mia Bartoletti and Anna Crane, clinical psychologists with more than fifteen years of embedded behavioral health experience in the special operations and military communities. They have been instrumentally involved in initiatives that received White House and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff recognition. Dr. Bartoletti has presented to U.S. Special Operations Command's Preservation of the Force and Families program.
